I have been in touch with Glasnevin Cemetery, and received this information

In plot MB 8 1/2 in the south section of the graveyard, Thomas Barrett 5/2/1937 who is the Great grandson of the person who bought the grave. Sarah Barrett 1908 and Kate Barrett, aged 97 who died in 1934 she was the sister in law of Margaret Barrett. Margaret Barrett was the owner of the grave.

It is possible that Margaret was Thomas wife, I have found out who the 5 people were in the grave, and Margaret isnt one of them. I will have to try to find out what happened to her. It could have been the case that the grave was full before she passed away.

Margaret was thomas's wife, i have found the marriage record. she lived in 36 Smithfield at the time of their marraige in 1873. her father was Patrick and he was a care taker
