Margaret Anderson was James' first cousin. This Anderson family was not related to the John Anderson family of Dundee (who married Elizabeth). James and Margaret had six children. Thomas Adamson, from whom we [sic] have had help in this work in 1922, through the town clerk of Pittenweem is one of these six children.
