THAYER, Marcy, d. Isaac Jr. and Marcy, [born] Feb. 19, 1750-1.
There is a birth recorded in Uxbridge VRs, p. 164, for Mary (not Marcy), on 15 Jun 1750, not 19 Feb 1750/51) that may simply recorded after the fact and erroneous, or may conceivably indicate that two families have been conflated? No probate has been found. Source:Thayer, Bezaleel. Memorial of the Thayer Name, from the Massachusetts Colony of Weymouth and Braintree, Embracing Genealogical and Biographical, p. 332, shows Reuben and Rhoda with the Mary from Uxbridge, which suggests they think it is one family, since the parents of Reuben and Rhoda are the exact same as Marcy from Bellingham. But why they ignore the Bellingham record is unknown (don't appear to assign it to any other family), and they get Mary's birthdate wrong (11 Jun instead of 15 Jun that is found in Uxbridge records), and they are an error-filled genealogy to start with that cannot be relied on (see, for example, the note here).
