In Brookfield, Madison Co., N. Y., on the 21st of October, Mrs. Mercy Brown, widow of the late Nathan Brown, in the 94th year of her age. By her peaceable and upright life, she endeared herself to a numerous circle of relatives, among who are six children, thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren, and eighteen of the fourth generation. She departed full of hope in Christ, and of the joy of the righteous. "The memory of the just is blessed."
