    Will of Joseph Hall, abt 1776-1822, son of William

    In the Name of God Amen. I Joseph Hall, of Phelps, County of Ontario and State of New York, considering the uncertainties of this mortal life and being of sound mind and ???, Blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following. I give and bequeath my whole Estate both personal and real unto my children the same to be equally divided among them. My Beloved wife Joanna to have and enjoy one third thereof so long as she shall remain my Widow and lastly I do hereby appoint James Carter my Brother in Law and Erastus Burt my Son in Law my Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
    In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 12th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two.

    Ran away from the subscriber, on the evening of the 8th inst., ELI DICKINSON, an indented Apprentice, about 19 years of age.
