[Afton page 28] Magdalena Zimmermann is interrogated and declares: Bailiff Schwarzwälder could only know the two daughters, because the son Johannes, born in 1819, was then living in Lðrrach with my brother. My son Jacob has died in 1818 (sic!) here . . . My father's name was Jakob Zimmermann, and the other Magdalena's father was Kristian.

[Afton page 25] BA Müllheim to LA Freiburg: Magdalena Zimmermann serves here in Müllheim . . . The occasional birth of Magdalena Zimmerman at the Baldenweger Hof does not establish a home-right there, and even less for her illegitimate children who were born in Müllheim. The OA Emmendingen has issued her a permit on 29.12.1820. Her parents were tenants of the Baldenweger Hof, only temporarily there, and nothing else is known.

[Afton page 15] The LA Freiburg reports the government: it turned out that Johann Zimmerman is an illegitimate son of Magdalena Zimmerman, who was born on the Baldenweer Hof and can claim home-right in Wittental according to the decrees of 1828 and 1829. Magdalena has two more girls and a deceased boy by the name of Jacob. Being her illegitimate children, they have home-right in Wittental, too . . .
