'Christian Meyer [son of Christian and Barbara Meyer], b. 1705, Langenzell, Baden, Germany. He died at Franconia Township, Montgomery County in 1787. He wrote his will 26 Apr 1782 and it [was proved?] 31 May 1787. He was the executor of his brother Samuel's will in 1766 with his cousin Christian Meyer. He was married to Magdalena. He bought 170 acres in Franconia Township on 14 Nov 1729 from James Steele. He was taxed on 150 acres in Franconia Township in 1734. He was a Mennonite deacon.'
