It is not positive that the Mads Hansson who lived in Rørkoll was the same person as the Mads Hansson who was born in Rømmingen, but the approximate birth year makes it feasible. Neither Stokke Bygdebok indicates the origin of Mads Hansson of Rørkoll.

    translation: Hans Nilssøn was born about 1652 and died 1732.
