Person:Lydia Wright (49)

Wethersfield records show the birth of Lydia Wright, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Wright, in 1672, and many trees show that it was she who married Israel Crane. The Boardman Genealogy indicates that the wife of Israel Crane was the daughter of James Wright^[2], but provides no evidence to support that. However, it is clear from comments on page 235 of The Boardman Genealogy that the author communicated with Lydia's great-grandchildren, and it may be that one of them was aware of the lineage.

   Many have interpreted this as indicating that Lydia died 28 Apr 1707, but as per the Wethersfield VRs, it was her husband Israel that died on that date.
