One secondary source indicates that Lydia, the wife of the second Nathaniel Cook of Windsor, may have been Lydia Brooks, daughter of John, born 7 August 1673 at Windsor. This was apparently based on the abstract of the probate of one Lydia Cook who died at Tolland in 1747. Review of that abstract indicates that this Lydia Cook was probably not the widow of Nathaniel, but, more likely, the unmarried daughter of Nathaniel and Lydia _____ Cook.
