[Lydia] Daughter of Joseph Penniman by Lydia his Wife born Jan'r 17th 1754.
Source:Penniman, George Wallace. Penniman Family, 1631-1900, p. 58, shows a daughter "Sylvia (a daughter, name illegible in Woodstock, CT Rec. where she was born 17 Jan. 1759)", which is probably his reading of the birth record cited here. The copy online says 1754 and context seems to support that interpretation. It would seem more likely that this first daughter might be named Lydia than Sylvia. No further details are given by this source, nor have been found, so in the absence of further details, it seems most likely the Woodstock VRs are correct.
