Ludmila of Bohemia (c. 860 – 15 September 921) is a Czech saint and martyr venerated by the Orthodox and the Roman Catholics. She was born in Mělník as the daughter of the Sorbian prince Slavibor. Saint Ludmila was the grandmother of Saint Wenceslaus, who is widely referred to as Good King Wenceslaus. Saint Ludmila was canonized shortly after her death. As part of the process of canonization, in 925, Wenceslaus moved her remains to St. George's Basilica, Prague.

    Heilige Ludmilla von Böhmen (auch Lidmilla, tschechisch Svatá Ludmila beziehungsweise Lidmila, * zwischen 855 und 860; † 15. September 921 in Tetín) war eine böhmische Fürstin. Sie war die erste christliche Herrscherin und ist die erste Heilige des Landes. Während ihrer Lebenszeit wurde der Grundstein für die Christianisierung gelegt und die Machtbasis der Přemysliden-Dynastie geschaffen. Das Leben der Großmutter und Erzieherin des heiligen Wenzel wurde in vielen Legenden beschrieben, die grundlegende Quellen zur Geschichte Böhmens im 9. und 10. Jahrhundert sind.
    Ludmilla wurde zwischen 855 und 860 als Tochter des slawischen Fürsten Slavibor geboren.
