Obituary

 MRS. CARL CLAY
 Mrs. Lucy Elnora Clay, 56, of New Albany-Greenford rd., died of complications today at 7 a.m. at her residence.  She had been ill one year.
 Born Feb. 6, 1898, in New Buffalo; she was the daughter of Freeman and Louis Butts Ruprite.  She was married to Carl Clay, in North Lima, Aprl 19, 1911.  He survives.
 She had lived her married life where she died and helped operate the floral business there.  A member of the Greenford Lutheran church, she also belonged to the Eastern Star, the Knights Templar auxiliary and the Greenford grange.  She organized the Greenford Pythian Sisters.
 Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L.B. Drew of Canfield and Mrs. W.E. Graham of R.D. Canfield; a son, Cecil, of R.D. 5, Salem; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Celia Swank of Youngstown.
 Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Arbaugh-Pearce funeral home, in charge of Rev. A.E. Kuitunen, pastor of the Greenford Lutheran church.  Interment will be in Hope cemetery.
 Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
