A queen bee among the handsome girls was Lucy Preston, daughter of Charles A., one of the early proprietors of The Reflector. She was keen intellectually, besides being unusually attractive personally and had not deteriorated to any extent in either respect when I last saw her some five years ago. She is the wife of Col. E. C. Culp and lives in Salina, Kansas, which has been her home for the past twenty years.
