When Lucy H. MOODY was born on March 13, 1792, in Bedford County, Virginia, her father, George, was 32 and her mother, Mary, was 22. She married Edward TATE on December 25, 1809, in Grainger County, Tennessee. She had six children by the time she was 28. She died in 1853 in Grainger County, Tennessee, at the age of 61.
