Obituary in the Chicago Daily Tribune, 13 July 1894:
Mrs. Lucy Isham, wife of Ralph Isham and daughter of Albert Keep, died at her residence, No. 381 La Salle avenue, yesterday at 4 a.m. of blood poisoning after an illness of several weeks. The funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Percival McIntyre, assistant pastor of St. James’ Episcopal Church, will officiate. The interment will be at Graceland. Mrs. Isham was 26 years old and a native of Chicago. She had attended the young ladies’ seminary at Ogontz, Pa., from which she was graduated in the class of ’89. She was an active member of the Ogontz Lunch club of Chicago, an organization supported by the alumnae of Ogontz for the benefit of working girls. Mrs. Isham was also a member of the Friday club, an association of young ladies, and was a communicant of St. James Episcopal Church. She left a child of 6 months old.
