Lucy Forbush, d/o Aaron Forbush and Susannah Morse, b. Westborough 7 Dec 1719, m. Westborough 31 Dec 1740 Thomas Joslin.
Source:Wessler, Edith S. Jocelyn--Joslin--Joslyn--Josselyn Family, p. 103, says Lucy "may be" the Lucy Joslin who m. Marlborough 7 Feb 1758 Daniel Cook. There is an intention in Source:Westborough, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of Westborough, Massachusetts, to the End of the Year 1849, p. 140, "Cook, Daniel and Lucy Josling of Marlborough, int. Jan. 4, 1758". Since Lucy is of Marlborough, the Westborough resident must be Daniel, which would appear to make him (ibid, p. 35): "Cook, Daniel, s. Cornelius and Eunice, Oct. 19, 1730". The fact that Daniel is over 10 years younger than Lucy (Lucy being about 38 at the time of the marriage in question, Daniel about 28) is what throws some doubt on all this. Note also that the mother of Daniel, Eunice (Forbush) Cook, is the sister of Lucy's father Aaron Forbush, which would make Lucy and Daniel Cook cousins.
