Obituary

Lucille M. Seslar, 98, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville.

Lucille was born in Antwerp on March 30, 1913; a daughter of the late Ada (Banks) & Julius Horn. Lucille married Gerald V. Seslar in 1932. Gerald passed away in 1967.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Lucille also was a homemaker, seamstress & devout member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Parish and the Rosary Altar Society. Lucille was very well known in her hometown, and was extremely knowledgeable of the historical facts that local newspapers often contacted her for insight.

Lucille was beloved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by her children, Julene Ott of Hamilton, IN & Bart (Vicki) Seslar of Bluffton, IN; sister, Ola (Gene) Hughes of Antwerp; 4 grandchildren; Eric, Ashley and Brett Seslar and Jacee (Bobby) Franz, 6 great grandchildren, & several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth (Mike) Horn.

Viewing will be at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp on Wednesday, 4-7:30, with a Vigil Service at 7:30 pm. Viewing is also Thursday, 9-9:30 am at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Antwerp on Thursday at 10 am.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
