FARMER, Lucy, w. Andrew, [died] Aug. 17, 1747.
- ↑ Undoubtedly the NEHGR article cited says Lucy m. a Mr. Farmer due to the father's will of 13 Mar 1753 bequeathing to "Children of my Daughter Lucy Farmer Deceased", indicating she had married a Mr. Farmer, had children, and died. This almost certainly makes her the first wife of Andrew Farmer of Billerica. Adding support to this, her brother Jonas Robbins acted as guardian for two of her children, John & Elizabeth. Further supporting this is the observation that they named children John and Dorothy: Lucy 1736, Mary [Andrew's mother's name] 1738, Dorothy 1740, Andrew 1742, Abigail 1744, John 1746, Elisabeth 1747. Lucy d. 1747. Andrew m. a second wife Rebecca, had more children, and he d. 1758.
