    Luanna E. Rose, daughter of Nicholas Coon, was born in Milton February 26, 1844, and died at her home in Milton Junction October 29, 1894. She was married to Anson Rose October 31, 1863, with whom she lived devotedly 31 years lacking 2 days.
    She suffered much from an internal cancer, but her Christian faith upheld her. Her friends will miss her very much, and extend their sympathies to the bereaved husband.
    The funeral services were held in the S. D. B. church Wednesday, October 31, 1894, conducted by her pastor, Rev. G. W. Burdick, assisted by Revs. W. C. Whitford, and E. M. Dunn of Milton.
