Louise J. Crow, 89, Auburn, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016, in a Topeka Hospital. She was born January 23, 1927, at Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Emil and Dorothy Quast. She grew up in the Auburn community and graduated from Auburn High School in 1945. She was a secretary for Auburn Elementary School where she retired in 1993. Louise married Ralph E. Crow, September 25, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas. Ralph died June 23, 2011. She also was preceded in death by a son, Steve L. Crow, who died August 8, 1999, and four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by a son, Kevin Crow (Julie), Wakarusa, KS, and three grandchildren, Jennifer, Aaron and Travis. A graveside funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, in Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Kansas. She will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame, where family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Auburn Lions Club or the Auburn Fire Department, and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
