She was a member of OldShongaloo Methodist Church, a retired Webster Parish Schoolteacher having taught the second and third grades for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Adkins, a daughterRachel Boucher a brother, Cecil Bailey and sister, Verral Jones. Her survivors include a granddaughter, Jenelle Boucher ofShongaloo.
