Bio: Louis R. Stanley, 76, of 503 Glenwood, Piqua, died on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 5:35 pm in his residence. He was born in Miami County on July 31, 1929 to the late John and Irene Halley Stanley. He married Betty M. Lampert on March 26, 1949 in Indiana; she preceded him in death on May 16, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Carl and Deb Stanley of Union City, Ind.; a daughter, Connie and Gary Kelley of Piqua; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Edward and Beverly Stanley of Bradford; and two sisters, Carolyn Weidner of Sidney, and Dorothy and Joseph Beasecker of Houston. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Stanley, and a sister, Leona Stanley.
Mr. Stanley retired in 1995 as an Inspector for the Hartzell Propeller Company.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 1:30 pm in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. James Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc., P. O.
