Name on birth certificate is Ludwich August Roos - it was legally changed to Louis Roos 23 Sep 1940 - there is a certificate of correction attached to the birth certificate.
Birth certificate appears to have been changed from 1892 to 1895.
Occupation: Owned a car dealership in Chicago-specialized in cars with bullet-proof glass. 
  Heinrich Roos had given his son Lou and probably some of his other children $100,000.00 to get set up in business.  Lou bought a car dealership.  He used to tell stories about mobsters coming in and paying cash for specially armored cars - bullet-proof glass, armored sides, special tires, etc.  They would take out a big wad of money and peel off thousand-dollar bills to pay for the cars.
