    Louis Fredrick Ahlman, of Delaware, Ohio, died Sept. 26, 1973 in a Columbus, Ohio nursing home at age 86. He was born in Jan 21, 1887 in Euclid, Ohio, the son of Fred Ahlman and Mary E. Snyder. His stepmother was Thalia (Phillips) Stewart Ahlman. He was a district Sales Mgr. for Harshaw Chemical Company. He married Sept 17, 1913 Julia E. Rees, born in 1884 in Cleveland, the daughter of William Rees and Abbie Champney. Julia died Nov. 4, 1957 at home in Delaware, OH. Both were buried in Knollwood Cemetery. His 2nd wife, Elsie Baade AHLMAN, born May 16, 1888, died Nov 26, 1973 in a Columbus nursing home at age 85. She was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware, OH.

    * Warner Rees AHLMAN, born Dec 5, 1916 in OH, died Feb 24, 1989 in Palm Beach co, FL, age 72, formerly of Shaker Hts; a US Army veteran, he enlisted Nov 6, 1940. His wife, Gloria Jane Ahlman, born Feb 25, 1922, died June 18, 1995 in Palm Beach co., age 73

    LOUIS' STEP-MOTHER, Thalia Phillips was born in 1860 in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of James Phillips and Marcia Lovell. She was 50 and the widow of Simmons Stewart when she married Oct 1, 1910 Fred Ahlman. He was born in 1854 in Euclid, the son of Fred and Elizabeth (MAUNDER) Ahlman. Fred died May 7, 1924 at Miami, Fla. His first wife was Mary E. (SNYDER) AHLMAN.
