In DeRuyter, Madison Co., N. Y., Sept. 19, 1883, of typhoid fever, Lorenzo Burdick, in his 68th year. The deceased was a son of the late William Burdick. He was the youngest of a family of eight children, five sons and three daughters, of whom only two survive him. He made a profession of religion some twenty-three years ago and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church of DeRuyter, of which he remained a member until death. He leaves a wife and seven children, together with a large circle of kindred and friends, to mourn his loss. "Thy will be done." J. C.
