    Loren E. Rector, 71, of Nevada, died Monday, December 8, 1986 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born September 25, 1915 in Milford. He married Katherine L. Bolton on December 14, 1941 in Nevada.

    He was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church, served in the Navy in World War II, and was a member of the Nevada City Council for several years.

    He is survived by his wife, Katherine L. Rector of the home, a son, Gregory A. Rector, Olathe, Kansas, and one granddaughter Leigh Anne Rector.

    Services will be Friday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Church with Rev. Bruce LeBarron officiating. Burial will be in Deepwood Cemetery.

    Friends may call now and until 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Ferry Funeral Home Cemetery.

    The family suggests contributions to All Saints Episcopal Church in his memory.
