"Washington - Lola M. Carle, 93, of Hart Hollow Road, died August 31, 2000 at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born June 5, 1907 the daughter of Leo and Edith (Hanson) Seaver. She graduated from Goddard Seminary in 1923. On September 25, 1932 she married William T. Carle in Washington. They lived most of their married life in Washington. She had worked in the office of the former Granite City Creamery. She was a member of the Universalist Churches of Washington and Barre.

"Survivors include three grandchildren, Andrea Jones, David Jones and Steven Jones, all of Washington; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elinor Jones, and three brothers, Hobart Seaver, Paul Seaver and Kenneth Seaver. Burial took place in Maple Hill Cemetery."
