Another spelling; Llewllin. Settled in Apple Pie Ridge in Frederick Co., VA in 1701 after leaving Wales. He married the daughter of Richard Thomas; who purchased 5000 acres from William Penn after arriving in PA from Wales in 1683 Represenatives of the PARRY family came to America as early as 1635. William & John Parry came to VA in the "Primrose' and Morris Parry arrived in the vessel called"Thomas & John' No evidence has been found to link these people with this family. Our PARRY ancestors came from Wales about 1700 seeking religious freedom. They were Baptist and they settled in Chester Co., PA. Records indeicate 3 family memebrs; Llewellyn, James and Rowland; most likely brothers. In 1712 Llewellyn PARRY, was present at a Quaker marriage of his brother-in-law; Richard Thomas to Grace Atherton. About 1700, Llewellyn PARRY (b. ? d, after 1715) married Mary Thomas daughter of Richard ap Thomas who came from Flintshire, Wales.
