Lillian Elizabeth Graves, age 93, of Flippin, Arkansas (formerly of Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas), died Sunday. Mrs. Graves was born in DeWitt, Arkansas, on June 18, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Jeff and Ruth (Prather) Shumate. She was a member of the Flippin First Baptist Church and when her health allowed was active in the Home Demonstration Clubs in Crocketts Bluff and Marion County. Mrs. Graves was the youngest of 14 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duke Graves, in 1976. Lillian had married Duke Graves on December 20, 1941.
Mrs. Graves is survived by one son, Dennis Graves and his wife, Emma, of Flippin, Arkansas; one daughter, Connie McCallie and her husband, Larry, of Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Brandon Hawkins of Springfield, Mo., Britt Graves of Little Rock, Arkansas and Brianna Herron of Springdale, Arkansas; and three great-grandchildren, Pierce & Parker Hawkins of Harrison, Arkansas and Holland Herron of Springdale, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas , Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Graveside Services are going to be at the Crocketts Bluff Cemetery in Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas on Wed, Feb 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm. with Bro. Charles Floyd Jackson officiating.
