6 OCT 1984 LETTER FROM KATHLEEN BURKE, 167 BELLEVUE STREET, ELIZABETH, NJ 07202 ---- Dear Mrs. Kerr, No doubt you will be surprised to hear from me unless you have recently spoken to Mrs. (Keimig) Kerwin. I had a nice visit with her recently. I thought many times of contacting her and I finally did. I remembered her & her mother living next.
My name was Kathleen Lynch (now it's Burke) when I worked for you in 1930 & 31. It was my first Job after coming from Ireland. I was so lost and you were so sweet to me.
I was very saddened to hear Carolyn & Barbara had passed away. They were sweet little girls when I knew them. If I lived near you I'd pay you a visit and I don't drive, so this note will have to take the place of a visit. Hope you're feeling better. If you can, drop me a line. If not I'll understand. I am happy I was able to locate you. I had often thought about you all- Thanks to Mrs. Keimig Kerwin I finally did after all the years-She is such a nice person- I'll close now with good wishes and nice memories.
God Bless You Love Kathleen Lynch Burke
