↑ They lived in Pompey Hill, Onondaga Co., NY from 1802 to 1834. In the fall of 1834, they emigrated West and purchased 531 acres at $4.50 per acre, in La Fayette, Medina Co., Ohio, where they remained till death. There were thirteen children, eleven of whom grew to maturity. Mr. Chase was deacon in the Baptist Church.
