    Frank Wilson, Whose Household Goods Were on Way ti Sycamore, Died Suddenly of Heart Failure at Sumner, Iowa, on Wednesday Morning

    After some 15 years' absence, just ready to return to make his home in Sycamore where he had bought the Loomis dwelling on Mason Court, Frank Wilson, former well known Mayfield farmer, died suddenly from a heart attack at Sumner, Iowa, early Wednesday morning.

    His household goods were on the way to Sycamore and Mr. Wilson and his wife expected to leave Sumner the following day.

    Frank Wilson was born in New York state aboout 62 years ago, and came when a child to Mayfield, where he continued to make his home until about 15 years ago, when he removed tp Sumner. He was married to Miss Vesta Renwick of a well known family of Mayfield, and sister of R. R. Renwick of this city. Mr. Renwick departed for Sumner on Wednesday on receipt of the news of the death.

    Mr. Wilson leaves surviving, besides his wife, two sons, four daughters and a brother, the latter a resident of Rockford, Ill.

    The children are Mrs. Henry Stark of Kingston, Mrs. Gdenn (sic) Jackson of Minneapolis, eGorge (sic), Agnes, Leslie and Margery of Sumner. The brother is Bert Wilson.

    The funeral services were held at Sumner this Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains will arrive here on Saturday morning, and be interred in the family lot in Mayfield cemetery.

    Vesta Mrs. Vesta I. Wilson, 88, former well known and highly esteemed resident of this community passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the Bethany Methodist Home to Chicago.

    Vesta I. Renwick was born December 15, 1864, in Mayfield Township, the daughter of George and Mary Renwick. She was the last survivor of a family of ten children. On October 17, 1882, she was married to Frank L. Wilson at Sycamore. They farmed for a number of years in rural Sycamore, moving to Sumner, Iowa in 1903. Following her husband's death in 1919, Mrs. Wilson returned to Sycamore and made her home here, until entering the Bethany Methodist Home in 1948.

    She was a member of the local Methodist church, having transferred her membership here from the Grace Methodist church it Sumner, Iowa, and was active in its work until her health failed her.

    Surviving her demise are six children: Mrs. Maude Mae Stark of Kingston, Mrs. Vesta Jackson of Bethesda, Md., George R. Wilson of Sumner, Iowa, Mrs. Agnes J. McDonald of Hamilton, Mont., A. Leslie Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Miss Marjorie Wilson of Minneapolis, Minn. There are also 16 grandchildren, 17 great - grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
    The body is being brought to Sycamore this Wednesday morning and the final services are being accorded from the load Methodist church at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Wayne Leighty officiating. Interment will take place in the Mayfield cemetery.
