    Leonard R. Reith, 86, of Concordia, died April 25, 2013, at the Lutheran Nursing home in Concordia. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Concordia with the Rev. R. Lee Hagan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

    Mr. Reith was born March 27, 1927, at Corder. He was the son of John H. and Emma C. Mavius Reith. On Sept. 15, 1951, he married Nadean Hemme. He lived in Lafayette County his entire life. He worked for 30 years for Mid America Dairy in Emma, retiring in 1984, when the store closed. Following his retirement, he worked at McDonald's in Concordia for several years. He was a member of St. Paul's church.

    Mr. Reith is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, David Wayne Reith of Sedalia and Richard Allen Reith of Warrensburg; a sister, Alberta Bredehoeft of Alma; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

    He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ervin Reith on March 25, 1988, Herbert Reith on Dec. 20, 1919, and Walter Reith on May 13, 1921; and a sister, Hilda Starkebaum on Aug. 22, 1976.

    The pallbearers were Allen Bredehoeft, Ronald Bredehoeft, Wendell Starkebaum, Justin Reith, Carl Hutcherson and Truman Reith. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Wake, Jeff Wake, Mike Boehmer and Wendell Bredehoft.

    The family suggests memorial contributions to the church or St. Paul's Lutheran School.
