    Death Claims Mrs. Jacks.
    Mrs. Leona Hayes Jacks, 68, route 2, Mooresville, died at noon Sunday at Lowrance Hospital in Mooresville after a critical illness of five days, death being due to a heart attack. Mrs. Jacks was born October 12, 1898, in northern Iredell County, daughter of the late Emmett C. and Carrie Wooten Hayes. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, but had been affiliated with the Tenthdall Baptist Church in Mooresville. She was a housewife and mother and is survived by her husband, Arthur L. Jacks. Also surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Robert Bustle, Mooresville, two sons, Horace H. Jacks, Norfolk, Va., and E. Homer Jacks, route 2, Mooresville; one brother Forrest F. Hayes, Beach Haven, N.J.; four sisters, Mrs. Carl Shoemaker, route 5, Statesville, Mrs. Henry Mowbray, Manahawkin, N.J., Mrs. Ned Carlton, Okeechobee, Florida, and Mrs. Victor Hayes, Beach Haven, N.J.; and seven grandchildren.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Jacks will be at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at Tabor Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Robert O. Pitts and Rev. Ralph Jacks. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nicholson Funeral Home Monday evening between 7:30 and 9 o'clock. The body will lie in state 30 minutes at the church prior to the funeral hour.
