QUAY 3 Tomczak, Lawrence J. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Tomczak, age 75 years, died early Tuesday morning, June 15, 2004 at his home with his family by his side. Son of the late John & Mary (Gielniak) Tomczak wa s born August 14, 1928 in Linwood, Michigan where he has lived all of his life. He married the former Joyce B. Chartier June 2, 1951 in Visitation Church, she survives him. Mr. Tomczak served in the U .S. Army during WWII and worked at the Bay City Chevrolet for many years before retiring in 1988. Lawrence was a member of Holy Trinity Church, he enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. Surviving besid es his wife Joyce, he leaves two children, Sharon (Peter) Steyer and their children: Amanda & Shannon, Michael (Jill) Tomczak and their family Justin (Suzy) Tomczak and their daughter, Allison and Jer emy Tomczak; two brothers and two sisters: Ted (Norma) Tomczak, Robert (Nancy) Fisher, Florence Scott, Cecelia (Eugene) Wardynski and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Brian & J ay Tomczak and many brothers and sisters. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 18, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church. Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm will officiate with burial in Floral Gar dens Cemetery with presentation of the flag under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. an d at the church on Friday after 9:00 a.m. There will be a Parish Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
