    Lon Strosnider, 75-year old farmer of Jackson Township, died Sunday afternoon at his home near Owensburg. He had suffered a heart attack only a few days before his death.

    He was born August 11, 1865, the son of Charles and Mary Jane Strosnider. He was married to Miss Linia LAMB. He was a member of the Bethel Church and the I. O. O. F. lodge of Hobbieville.

    Survivors are the widow, five daughters, Mrs. Ora Cuthrell, of Bloomfield; Mrs. Virgil Miller, of Owensburg; Mrs. Dwight DAVIS, of Springville; Mrs. Truman George, of Muncie, and Mrs. Earl Fording, of Indianapolis; a son, Virgil Strosnider, of Bicknell; three sisters, Mrs. Ella (Logan) Hatfield, of Owensburg; Mrs. Carrie Fields, of Bedford, and Mrs. Edith Early, of Chicago; two brothers, Edward Strosnider, of Owensburg, and Homer Strosnider, of Evansville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

    Final services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Bethel Church. The Rev. Logan Hatfield officiated, and the burial was in the Dishman Cemetery.
