    Laura Jane was the second child of Rufus Crockett and Jane Peery. She married Anderson Dudley after the Civil War. They had 6 children at least one (Samuel) passed before her. In her latter years she moved in with her daughter Jennie and son in-law Henry Lon Laughter.
