"Mr. Obie Lindsey from Bakersfield, Cal., visited his sister Mrs. W. J. Mann and other relatives last week. He has been gone from Texas some thirty years and he said that if he had been dropped down in this country in the dark and then let light come he wouldn't have known where he was so great was the change. He will visit Goldthwait, Stamford, Clarendon and other points before his return to California.
