BIOGRAPHY: Kjerstena's name is also spelled Kjerstina, Kerstina, and Kjersti in the clerical surveys of Wiggarum, Langarod, Malmohus, Sweden. She lived there from 1817 to her death in 1864.

BIOGRAPHY: According to Robert B. Anderson's records, Kjerstina was blind. I am not sure where he found this information.
