"Thomas Bancroft of Dedham and Reading, Mass., and Some of His Descendants", in NEHGR, Vol. 94:316 and 95:65, assumes the Kendall Bancroft b. 1742, is the one that survived, apparently unaware of the birth of a second son named Kendall in Worcester, in 1751. However, the age at death, 55 in 1806, shows the one b. 1751 is the one that survived, and this one, b. 1742 must have died young.
