PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA -- Kathryn E. Votaw, 81, East Liverpool, Ohio, died at 7:04 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born on Sept. 20, 1920, in Wabash, to George and Margaret (Hipskind) Boles. She married Calvin E. Votaw on September 14, 1941, in Wabash. He died on November13, 1998. She was a secretary for Dr. Robert LaSalle for 16 years, retiring in 1983. She spent her winters at 84 Coltonwood Lane, Naples, Florida. She was a member of the Wabash Christian Church and the Hibiscus Country Club, Naples, Florida. She was a member and past president of the Wabash American Legion Auxiliary No.15, and a member of the Wabash Lady Elks and Sigma Phi Gamma sorority. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Jay Votaw, East Liverpool, Ohio, and Jeff Votaw, Bridgeport, West Virginia; four grandchildren; and one great-grandso Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Earwood will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. |
