Mrs. Julia Ann HOY, 73, resident of Auburn community for the past seventy-one years, died Tuesday at her home there. She was born February 23, 1866, in South Bend, Ind., and came to Kansas with her parents at the age of two, settling at Auburn. She married William A. HOY in May, 1881, and was a member of the Auburn Methodist Church. Besides her husband she is survived by five children, Mrs. Edith TAYLOR of the home; Jesse HOY, Wakarusa; Mrs. Sadie TAYLOR, Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Addie HITZ, and George HOY, also of the home; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one sister of the home address. ------------------------- The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday June 14, 1939
