In Walworth, Wis., Oct. 29, 1855, of consumption, terminating in dropsy, Julia Ann Randolph, wife of H. W. Randolph, in the 35th year of her age. Sister Randolph experienced religion in early life, and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church in Shiloh, N. J. On removing to Wisconsin, she attached herself to the body of Christ at Walworth, where she remained one of its brightest ornaments until, after a distressing illness, she fell asleep in Jesus. As the day of her dissolution drew near she seemed to enjoy enlarged views of the goodness, greatness, and power of God, in the atonement through a mediator, and her peace was that of which passeth understanding.
