Obituary

Tomlinson, Julia Ann, 92, one of the very first settlers in the territory of Noble County, died at the county asylum on Monday, September 14, 1891. She was a daughter of Leonard Danner, who, Mr. Prentiss says, entered the second tract of land entered in the county. It is now owned by George Growcock and is in Section 18, Perry Township. Mrs. Tomlinson has been a resident of the county for sixty years. She was for many years an inmate of the county asylum and became totally blind before her death. (Democrat) ~ 9-17-1891 + 9-14-1891

Evidence found suggests this obituary may be mistaken on her age at death. Perhaps more likely born around 1816. 1880 Census has age of 64.
