    New Market, Feb 14 --- Rev. Kendall will hold services at the Christian church next Sunday and Sunday night -- Aunt Julia McCoskey [sic] was interred at the Presbyterian church cemetery last Wednesday at noon -- Julia Carr was born January 26, 1818, died Feb. 6th, 1899, was married to Thomas McCoskey in 1830, was the mother of ten children, six of whom are living. She was the mother of James A. McCoskey, who was county assessor of Clark county in the seventies. She was the daughter of Absalom Carr and a sister to Dr. F. M. Carr, of this place. She was a member of the Presbyterian church for 55 years.
