↑ One would expect this date to be 4 Jan 1704/05 based on typical usage, and typical sibling spacing, and that is how Bond, p. 605, shows it. However, the baptism record qualitatively seems to indicate that Sarah and Judith are one year apart in age which would make 1703/04 be the correct interpretation. While this qualitative detail (relative ages) would seem less likely to get misrecorded than, say, a date, the baptism record makes other errors (e.g., switching Sarah and Judith) that makes its reliability unknown. Still, the youngest age shown in the baptism record is 8, and a birth in Jan 1704/05 would be only a 5-year old in 1710, a big difference when the children are so young.
