CAPRON, Judith, d. Joseph and Judith (Peck), [born] Apr. 8, 1720.

  2. Joseph Capron's will refers to daughter Judea Eady the wife of Caleb Eady. Source:Holden, Frederick A. Genealogy of the Descendants of Banfield Capron, from A.D. 1660 to A.D. 1859, p. 112, says this Judith "died young", presumably because it shows another Judith b. 1737. However, the birth record in 1737 is for Lydia, not Judith, and Lydia died in 1739. Thus there is no reason to think this Judith died young, and further, Caleb Eddy and wife Judeah have several children whose births are recorded in Norton (see Norton VRs), the first in 1738. This is far too early a birth for a mother allegedly born in 1737, but reasonable for a mother born in 1720.
