"Jotham Trafton, Jr., was a farmer and millwright of Georgetown, and built Berry's mill. Although a man of prominence in the town, he held no public office. In politics he was a Democrat; in religion, a Baptist and a member of the church here. He died January 9, 1885, aged eighty-three years and seven months."
