[Note: The compiler's question about the birth year is due to the birth of sister Sarah 3 Feb 1760, which would be impossible if the date recorded was correct. The age at death suggests his birth was 1749. Also, Jotham had his first child 1778, which suggests he would be born by 1756 to account for legal age plus one year of marriage.]

Nuncapative Will: "We the Subscribers being at the Dwelling House of Jotham Meriam Deceas'd in the Country Gore & County of Worcester on the twenty first day of August Last past 1798 He being in his Last Sickness but in our Judgment of Sound & Disposing mind Said it was His Will that Each Son should have out of his Estate Thirty Dollars to each Daughter twenty Dollars in hearing of [Signed] Samuel Hartwell, Eben'r Burnap, Isaac Barton."
